The Housekeeping Department is the heart of the hotel, and is responsible for the cleanliness, aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, and property. No level of service, friendliness or glamour can equal the sensation a guest has upon entering a spotless, tidy and fresh area. We are building our Housekeeping Team to ensure the heart keeps beating!
Full time and part time positions available with various start and end dates ranging from mid May and June through the end of October.

PRODUCTIVITY EXPECTATIONS
Productivity expectations may fluctuate based on occupancy, room conditions, weather-related factors, and special guest requests.
Room Attendants (1 person):
- 9 Check-out resort rooms per shift
- 16 Stayover resort rooms per shift
Condo Attendants (Team of 2):
- 5 Check-out condos per shift (team)
- 8 Stayover condos per shift (team)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean all assigned guest rooms and condos, ensuring cleanliness consistently meets resort standards.
- Make beds to the highest standard, eliminating wrinkles and imperfections in all linens.
- Clean balconies, decks, and patios, remove all cobwebs, debris, and dirt.
- Wash windows, patio doors, and deck railing panels.
- Remove all garbage from rooms and condos, maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Clean and sanitize BBQs, including the inside, outside, and grill surfaces.
- Load and unload dishwashers as required.
- Pack and unpack condo bags efficiently and accurately.
- Count and verify room and condo inventory, replacing missing or damaged items when necessary.
- Ensure that all used linens are properly sorted and placed in designated laundry areas.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned areas, including hallways, condo pathways, and surrounding grounds.
- Organize, stock, and maintain cleaning carts or caddies at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Properly care for and control all equipment, including vacuums, carts, and cleaning tools.
- Safely push fully loaded bins up and down hills in an outdoor environment.
- Follow WHMIS protocols and identify health and safety risks to prevent injury.
- Know when and how to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Recognize workplace hazards and report safety concerns when required.
- Adhere to all resort hygiene and grooming polices.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a high school level.
- Knowledge of hotel property, facilities, history and region an asset.
- Understand how to use cleaning equipment, supplies and chemicals safely; follow WHMIS health and safety requirement when performing duties use PPE an asset.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS
- Room attendants are required to be inside and outside on regular basis and will need to be able to adapt environment changes at all times.
- Will be exposed and expected to work in dirty and dusty conditions.
- Job requires you to be on your feet 100% of your shift.
- Be in good physical condition to perform extensive walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and stretching.
- Able to lift 25 pounds and to push carts loaded with linen and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds. Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25% of the time.
- Be able to climb up and down flights of stairs while carrying linen, supplies, and or garbage that could exceed up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
