Facilities Attendant - Lora Bay

The Facilities Attendant plays a key role in preserving the overall functionality and appearance of the facility, contributing to a positive experience for all who visit. Attention to detail, and a strong commitment to cleanliness are essential for success in this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Tasks (Performed Multiple Times Per Day)
- Restrooms: Clean and sanitize all restrooms in the Clubhouse, Lodge, and gym. Restock essential supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Floors and Windows: Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of floors in high-traffic areas such as the Clubhouse main entrance, Golf Shop, Lodge, restaurant, and gym. Clean interior and exterior windows as needed.
- Garbage Management: Empty all garbage bins throughout the facility and ensure timely removal. Monitor garbage bins to ensure no overflow, community dumping, etc.
Gym Maintenance
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment and floors.
- Clean and maintain the gym restroom.
- Perform towel laundry and restock towels, water, and sanitary wipes as needed.
Other Regular Responsibilities
- Facility Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks, including all floors of the Lodge (upper, main, and lower), restaurant furniture, and light fixtures.
- Event Support: Assist with setting up and taking down tables and chairs for events.

- Carry a company radio daily for real-time communication.
- Attend internal company meetings (e.g., department heads, JHSC) when requested.
GUEST SERVICE
Provides guest service to external contacts, guests who are golfing at Lora Bay, as well as internal contacts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
- High school level English communication skills
- Proper handling and experience with cleaning supplies
- The company may request additional training for specific certifications (e.g., Working from Heights), with all costs covered by Lora Bay.
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY
- No Supervision or budget authority
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
- Work under pressure
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work with machines that produce noise (vacuums, etc.)
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold outdoor conditions and warm indoor environments.
- Days and hours of work will vary depending on seasonal business demands.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS
- Long periods of time standing on your feet and being physically engaged
- Must be willing to work morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to climb stairs daily and frequently as part of regular duties.
