The construction accounting coordinator will manage/control and analyze the day to day expenditure. Will oversee the process in which the department members approve payments/invoices and communicate with GG accounting department.




Describe the responsibilities and frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly).


  • Change Order Processing 
  • Budget revision Processing 
  • Coordinate with Development Managers and Project Managers and keep track of change orders and budget revisions, provide consolidated lists 
  • Calculate SDI breakdown, enter SDI contracts, generate Purchase Orders and distribute to trades
  • Custom Option Processing
  • Review budgets for all GG projects, identify errors and correct
  • Ongoing Site support with entering contracts
  • Data validation and troubleshooting
  • Test Newstar/Dynamic Builder (or any other software the company may choose) releases and document new changes
  • Test new reports/new changes, document reports and assist site with running/reading reports
  • Invoice processing and expediting.
  • Reporting on past project spend to inform future project budgets
  • other duties as appropriate based on project needs



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)

Provide the minimum or mandatory education and experience requirements to successfully perform the job, including licenses and certifications.

  • must have previous experience in a similar role preferably in the construction industry
  • Experience with NewStar as an advantage
